Required: 
- High school diploma or equivalent
 
- Must type at least 45 WPM accurately
 
- Must have computer skills
 
- High degree of confidentiality
 
- Possess good public relation skills

Desirable:
- Knowledge of the school system
 
- Ability to work without supervision  
 
 
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of a Sub Secretary include, but are not limited to, the following: 
 
- Assists in all areas of clerical work needed to maintain the function of the office to which assigned
 
- Answers the telephone and responds appropriately to requests
 
- Greets all visitors courteously and arranges for their comfort
 
- Distribute mail
 
- Maintains a schedule of appointments 
 
- Screens unexpected callers in accordance with established practices
 
- Deal effectively with the age level of the children in the building to which assigned
 
- Performs other duties as assigned
